Job Overview:

• Plating Teams operate assigned automated plating machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity
• They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures.
• Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following the policies and procedures.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• To prepare and wire items for suitable processing by Platers
• To identify and apply various wiring/jigging techniques for plating
• To identify and apply various techniques when packing completed work
• To control and complete all relevant documentation To calculate areas for Racks and Jigs
• To carry out basic metal finishing when work load demands.

Work experience and skills:

• Must have a reasonable standard of education.
• An aptitude for Maths and Chemistry would be an advantage
• Must be dexterous with a good eye for detail.
